On March 9 Bilajari (northern outskirts of Baku) hosted the opening of a shooting center for competitions in various types of shooting. This center is one of the places where the competition will be held in the framework of the European Games.
The area of the sports facility is almost 20 hectares, which will house a hall for bullet shooting, which will host shooting competition at a distance of 10, 25, 50 and 300 meters.
On the site for bench shooting the competitions will be held in shooting trap and skeet. Here are 5 shooting ranges equipped with 85 machines for firing cymbals. The center also has a hotel for athletes and coaches. All the equipment meets international standards.
The opening ceremony was attended by the head of state with his family.
