Today, the prosecutor's office toughened the charges against the activist of the Popular Front Party Fuad Ahmadli, Turan was told by the lawyer Asabali Mustafayev.
Fuad Ahmadli was arrested on August 18; then the State Security Service and Prosecutor General's Office said that Ahmadli, who worked as an operator in the "Call Center" LLC "Azerfon" transferred personal data of subscribers to third parties.
It was also alleged that during a search in Ahmadli’s apartment were found the books , CD-drives with performances by Turkish preacher Fetullaha Gülen, and his movement "Khizmat".
It is noteworthy that the case of Ahmadli was joined to the cases of other activists PPFA - Faik Amirov and Elchin Ismayilli, although they were presented very different charges.
The lawyer said that today in the Baku detention center-1 were carried out investigations against Ahmadli. At the same time against him were reclassified the Article 302.1 (violation of legislation on operative-search activity) and 308.1 (abuse of power) of the Criminal Code, paragraph 2 of the same article, stipulating responsibility for the grave consequences. Ahmadli denied the accusations.
"He said that he did not have any secret information. He was not official and handed customers the information by the orders of his authorities, " said the lawyer. Under the previous charges Ahmadli threatened three years of imprisonment, but under the new Articles he will be sentenced up to 8 years in prison.-03B-
