CITIZENS OF BAKU HAVE LOST ONE MORE PART OF BEACH

    Last week residents of Bilga witnessed unusual event: 2 - 3 kilometers of a beach were closed by constructors and constriction and equipment. At first sight it reminds the park for small ships or yachts. It used the be a favorite place of Baku fishermen. The capture of the beach in Bilga began more than two years ago ; then unknown constructors captures 10 hectares and made a stone fence with height more than 7 meters. Construction of three and four storey objects began behind the fence. According to unofficial information, governmental residents for high ranking officials were being built in Bilga. None of the official has answered the question what is being built there. The construction is violation of the instruction of Heydar Aliyev prohibiting construction in 130 meters near the sea. This construction is logical continuation of the capture of the nearby beach by businessman Iskender Khalilov and other rich people. Total length of a high fence is approximately four kilometers. Now the Baku fishermen will only dream about their favorite places on the shore of the sea.
