By the order of the President, Engineering University will be established in Baku. The new university in the Ministry of Education system is designed to improve the training of engineers and training of qualified personnel, reads the order.
It is noteworthy that the engineers are prepared for various industries in several universities of the country. What's the point was to create another institution, it is not clear. Apparently, a number of faculties of several universities will be transferred to the Engineering University. -02D-

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
