Former ruling party functionary arrested
Baku/05.11.21/ Turan: Former deputy chairman of the youth organization of the New Azerbaijan Party and ex-chairman of the Binagadi Municipal Council Aytaj Aliyeva was arrested on charges of fraud.
The head of the media and public relations department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Elshad Hajiyev confirmed this information.
It is reported that in 2020-2021, under the pretext of buying and selling jewelry, Aliyeva fraudulently took possession of citizens' funds for a total of 389,000 manats. In addition, she sold a fake document on the sale of a land plot in the village of Binagadi to a citizen for money.
She is charged under the Article 178.3.2 (fraud committed with large-scale damage) and 320.1 (preparation and sale of a false document) of the Criminal Code.
Her sister Ilknur Aliyeva is charged under the Article 178.3.2 of the Criminal Code.-0-
