Human rights activist Taleh Khasmamedov sentenced to three years
Today, Goychay District Court sentenced a human rights activist Taleh Khasmamedov to three years of imprisonment for hooliganism. The prosecutor asked to condemn him to four years. Oktay Gyulalyev , the head of the Committee to Protect the rights of Khasmamedov, called the verdict unjust execution of political order.
* Khasmamedov was detained in Goychay on February 24 at the exit from the store. A stranger came up to him and spit in the face, and then the man fell to the ground, pretending that Khasmamedov was beating him.
