Ibrahim Musayev Continues to Expose MNS of Nakhchivan
Escaping from Azerbaijan, a freelancer with the Ministry of National Security (MNS) of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) was interviewed by Azadlig and unveiled Special Services plans against a reporter for the Azerbaijani Service of Radio Liberty, Yafez Akramoglu.
According to Ibrahim Musayev, the MNS has prepared a special plan for the disposal of Akramoglu, who investigated the August 2011 murder of journalist Turach Zeynalov in the NAR MNS jail.
Upon learning of the arrival of the journalist, MNS banned relatives of Zeynalov from communicating with him. "As directed by the Head of National Security Ilgar Hajiyev, we took the reporter under the supervision as soon as he stepped off the plane," said Musayev. However, the journalist did manage to get in touch with the family of Zeynalov and investigate the murder. "If the mystery is revealed, the authorities of Nakhchivan will be disgraced in the whole world," said Musayev.
The reporter was detained and deported. "The plan of the head of MNS Ilgar Hajiyev was to send the reporter to Iran and to leak information to the Iranian security agency Ettelaat that the American radio journalist was in Iran to spy. In this case, the Iranian intelligence service would arrest and execute him," Musayev said. However, the plan failed, and the reporter managed to get to Baku.
Next time, when Zeynalov arrived in Nakhchivan, he was to be blackmailed. "This was led by an MNS employee named Nurlan Panakhov. The operation also involved one of the friends of the journalist named Ismayil. The plan was to shoot a video of intimate scenes with prostitutes. However, sensing the trick, the journalist was able to avoid the provocation and left the apartment, where the scene was prepared, and immediately flew to Baku” Musayev said.
Earlier, Musayev exposed MNS operations against the family members of Turach Zeynalov to get them to stop their complaints. Musayev fled from Azerbaijan to Russia and asked for political asylum in the West. -03D-
