In the area of the former "Soviet" resumed demolition of old housing
Baku / 10/15/18 / Turan: In recent days, the demolition of old residential buildings has resumed in the area of the former Sovetskaya Street. This time the demolition is carried out above the Taza Pir mosque.
At the same time, work was underway to complete the reconstruction of new pedestrian crossings and create a park along Narimanov Avenue (former Soviet).
According to the official report, several hundred families are compensated for this resettlement.
At the same time, a considerable part of the population expresses dissatisfaction with the amount offered to them. In an interview with Turan, residents said that the standard price of 1,500 manat per square kilometer does not suit those whose living space does not exceed 30 square meters. The authorities refuse to pay compensation in accordance with the number of persons registered in such apartments. They provide ready-made housing in remote areas.
In this area large-scale reconstruction work is underway. According to the plan, a large recreation area and a park complex will be created in this area, and several tens of thousands of people will be relocated to other places. -02B-
