Incident at Border - Shepherd Wounded
Baku / 11.12.19 / Turan: The day before, on the territory of the outpost of Jeyranchel on the border with Georgia, a shepherd with sheep tried to cross into Azerbaijan from Georgia. At the same time, about 10 dogs guarding the herd attacked the border guards. After warning shots in the air, the dogs were shot dead, the State Border Service said in a statement.
As a result of the conflict, the shepherd, who was injured in the head, also suffered. He was given the necessary assistance. The violator was a citizen of Georgia, a resident of the Sagarejo region, Bashirov Ramin Nizami Oglu (born 1993). His condition is satisfactory.
In connection with the incident, the deputy chief of the SBS, the commander of the border troops Asker Khalilov, was sent to the territory and held a working meeting with the Georgian border guards. The SBS and the military prosecutor's office are conducting an investigation. —06V-
