Intense heat causes forest fires
Baku/15.08.22/Turan: The intense heat and dry weather of recent days have caused forest fires in several regions of the country at once. So, on Monday, the Ministry of Ecology and the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported a strong fire in a forest in the Gabala region near the villages of Tikanly and Abrikh. Due to the mountainous terrain, the fight against fire is difficult. Two helicopters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were involved in fighting the fire.
Forest fires also broke out in the Shabran region near the settlement of Khalfalar, as well as in the Lachin region. In the latter case, deliberate arson by the Armenians leaving the region is not excluded.-0-
