Interior Ministry Reported Seizure of Arms and Drugs from Religious People
During searches in the homes of Masalli residents Araz Guliyev, Khalid Kazymov and Rza Agaaly, law enforcement officers seized two grenades, 1,975 grams of opium, and banned religious literature.
The residents were detained two weeks ago on charges of attempted disruption of the Masalli Folklore festival 2012 in the youth center in Masalli.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the detainees caused injuries to the policemen.
Note that these individuals are believers that protested against the participation of topless female dancers in a disco show in the area. One of the detainees is the head of the website www.xeber44.com. -16D-
