The Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov spoke in support of the amendments to the Criminal Code to criminalize libel and insult.
In an interview with reporters, he said that "the frequent facts of defamation on the Internet require legal regulation." According to him, this issue is relevant in other countries.
As noted Abbasov, the social networks on the Internet are often used to insult people.
