According to the Armenian service of Radio Liberty, sambo wrestlers Sos Balasaryan and Ashot Gabrielyan will leave for Baku through Tbilisi on June 20 and their performances will be held on 23June.
Radio recalls that after the victory of Ashot Gabrielyan in Moscow at the World Cup in Sambo, the Azerbaijani athlete ostentatiously squatted during the performance of the anthem of Armenia.
According to the coaches, the International and European Olympic Committees and the Azerbaijani authorities have given security guarantees.
Armenians expect to win prizes and raise their flag in Baku. To this end, they carry out the necessary work with the athletes to overcome the psychological barrier. -02D-
