Land Management to Be Monitored by Satellites
Azerbaijan will use the Satellite Control System in the issue of land management. This was announced by the Chairman of the State Property Committee Karam Hasanov on May 7.
According to the Committee, electronic registration and systematic management of lands will be established.
"A satellite communication system will be created for the perfect electronic registration and efficient use of land. Integration into the single system of Mega Information on all the rendered services will be ensured, and operative management will be carried out to form modern personnel potential," the Committee's Chairman said.
According to him, the information obtained through the Satellite Control System will allow timely detection of misuse and inefficient use of land, which will allow taking appropriate measures.
Karam Hasanov also reported on the commissioning of a mobile laboratory, which will create conditions for studying the quality of land in an operative way.
The question of the efficient use of Azerbaijani lands appeared on the agenda in early 2016, when President Ilham Aliyev issued instructions on preventing illegal seizure of lands and ensuring their purposeful and effective use. Following this, the Ministry of Agriculture prepared special rules for the return of unused land to circulation.
According to the State Committee for Property Affairs, only in the first half of 2017, 600 administrative protocols were drawn up in connection with inefficient land use. --0--
