Loss of defense and security sector for the current year amounted to 77 people
Within 11 months of the current year loss of defense and security sector in Azerbaijan amounted to 77 people, according to military research Center Doctrine.
10 soldiers were killed by the enemy on the Karabakh front, and 67 were non-combat losses. Furthermore, a cadet of the Nakhchivansky military lyceum died in unclear circumstances.
Nine people died in accidents (drowning, running over by armored vehicles, electric shocks), 14 - in car accidents, 3 - in a helicopter crash, 3 - for unknown reasons , 2 - inadvertently, 2 were killed by civilians, 6 died as a result of hazing, 12 - from sickness and 16 committed suicide.
According to the head of the Center Doctrine Jasur Sumerinli, in the period under review were wounded or injured 91 people, including nine wounded by enemy bullets and two stepped on mines. -06B-
