The Yenisabah.az website writes that the head of the Armenian separatists Arayik Harutyunyan held a meeting in Agdere with the participation of more than a hundred Armenians. He stated that Armenians from the territories liberated by Azerbaijanis will be stationed in Agdere. And this process has already begun. The author asks why this happens in the territory controlled by the peacekeepers. MP Fazail Agamaly called Harutyunyan's actions a crime and an attempt on Azerbaijan's sovereignty. As for the Russian peacekeepers, they act as protectors of the Armenians.

The Yeniavaz.com website writes that Russia is increasing duties on wheat exports.

The decree signed by the Russian Prime Minister envisages an increase in export duties from March 1 this year. That is, export duties will increase from 25 euros to 50 euros (from 51 manats to 103 manats).

For 11 months of 2020, 1 million 225.6 thousand tons of wheat in the amount of $ 262.5 million were imported to Azerbaijan.

The customs value of 1 ton of wheat exported from Russia is $ 212 (361 manats). According to the author, the annual demand for wheat in Azerbaijan is more than 3 million tons, this year Azerbaijan needs to import more than 1 million tons. If the export of wheat from Russia continues, this will mean an increase of about 50 manats per ton.

Wheat imported from Kazakhstan has become more expensive than imported from Russia. Last year, the customs value of 1 ton of wheat imported from Kazakhstan was $ 230 (390 manats).

The website Bizimyol.info.az writes about the impact of the rise in prices for gasoline and diesel fuel on the cost of food and medicine. Despite the warning from the Ministry of Economy, the price increase continues.

If the government wants to fight against artificially high prices, then it is necessary to set the upper bar, as in the case of drugs.

Another reason for the rise in prices is cartel collusion. There is a strange tendency in Azerbaijan - with an increase in prices in the world market, our prices also jump, but with a decrease in the world market, our prices do not decrease. Experts believe that if Azerbaijan is able to switch to the conditions of the liberal market, then prices will decrease.  --0----
