The Azerbaijan newspaper continues to write about the fight against coronavirus. The world science is in search of a vaccine, the American company Moderna conducted final tests of the manufactured vaccine, which was 94.5% effective. True, this vaccine has not yet been launched into mass production, but even when it is launched, then with restrictions, the author writes. According to official data, the number of infected people in the world has exceeded 56 million, and more than one and a half million have died. The number of active patients worldwide is 16 million. As for Azerbaijan, 53.5% of infected people are in the capital. The author insists on adherence to the rules and calls for social responsibility.

The website Redaktor.az writes about the ineffectiveness of distance education in Azerbaijan. According to the expert, no steps have been taken in the country in this direction for 11 years after the adoption of the law, since there was no need. The need arose only in March 2020, when training switched to an online system. In total, there are 1 million 200 thousand schoolchildren in Azerbaijan, of which 440 thousand are in Baku. It turns out that the rest living in regions of the country in the absence of smart phones or tablets have no opportunity to study online. In addition, 37% of teachers hover around the age of 65. And at this age, it is difficult to master technical innovations. The expert claims that distance learning is currently at a very low level.

In response, lately Azerbaijan has voiced its intention to recognize Northern Cyprus. In this regard, the President of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar is supposedly expected to visit Baku. According to Sabir Rustamkhanli, Northern Cyprus has been an independent state for many years, and NK has never been so. NK simply has the status of autonomy within Azerbaijan since 1923.
