On behalf of the Ombudswoman Elmira Suleymanova, its employees, "conducted an investigation at the Baku detention facility of the Prison Service."
The staff of the Ombudswoman visited the defenders Leyla Yunus and Intigam Aliyev. During the investigation it was found that Yunus refused the services of doctors General Medical Department of Justice and it was documented. On the outcome of meetings the two parties sent an appeal to the Chief Medical Office of Justice, said the Ombudswoman.
There is not any information about the health of Yunus and Intigam Aliyev in the message, and the opinion of the arrested on how they are treated.-06D-

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
