On the basis of the decision of the founder of the "Caucasus" University on January 16 began the process of elimination of the university, and the Liquidation Commission has been establihsed, stated by the Ministry of Education.
The university administration has requested the Ministry after the winter exam session to facilitate the transfer of students to other universities.To this end, the Ministry of Education set up a working group on of transfer students. Proposals to transfer students to the leading universities of the country has been prepared, the report said. -06D—

The situation around the university "Caucasus" is not clear. The press service of the university told Turan, that on January 17, 2017 the Founder and Supervisory Board decided to liquidate the university. At the same time, the university representative could not explain the reason for this. The further fate of the students and teachers of high school is not clear. Founder and Supervisory Board in the near future will hold a meeting and take a decision. According to the press service, the students will continue their studies and the educational process will not disrupt.
Problems at the University of "Caucasus" began in the summer of 2016 after the failure of the coup in Turkey. Ankara has demanded from Baku to close all the structures associated with the Movement "Khizmat" by the preacher Fethullah Gulen, the Turkish government announced him the organizer of the coup.
