New Fact of Illegal Mining of Minerals Revealed
Baku / 05.09.18 / Turan: During the raid of employees of the Environmental Protection Department of the Ministry of Ecology, illegal clay mining in the amount of 4,078.08 m3 by Raqib-FK LLC was revealed on the right bank of the river Ayrichay (the southern slope of the Greater Caucasus).
In this regard, damage amounting to 22,429.44 manat was revealed. This amount of funds generates a crime, therefore the collected materials were sent to the General Prosecutor's Office.
Mass checks of the use of mineral deposits began after the collapse of the bridge over the Goychay River on 2 June. It was found that the bridge collapsed from the illegal mining of gravel and sand in the riverbed. After that, several criminal cases were initiated against companies and individuals. -05D06-
