Officials of State Fund of Social Security have illegally paid 884.000 manats of pensions
Baku/27.12.22/Turan: After the checks of the Accounting Chamber in the State Social Security Fund, materials have been transferred to the Chief Anti-Corruption Department of the Prosecutor General's Office.
The investigation established that in 2002-2007 a fraud had been committed while granting pensions to 51 persons. So, these persons received pensions until June 31, 2022, which exceeded the pension rate in total amount of 884.000 manats.
A criminal case was opened over the fact under Articles 308.2 (abuse of power, resulting in grave consequences) and 313 (forgery) of the Criminal Code. The investigation is ongoing, the Prosecutor General's Office said in a 27 December report. -16В06-
