A soldier of the N-military unit in Beylyagan, a 19-year-old Elbrus Najafov died under strange circumstances. According to reports in the social media, the soldier hanged. "Elbrus Najafov an hour before his death spoke on the phone with his family, saying that he was gping on vacation the next. Therefore, information about the command in the suicide seems unbelievable, " said soldier’s prents. The family believes that information about suicide is far-fetched to cover their tracks the true causes of the death. Najafov was an athlete, a champion in the capoiera. On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
