Persons who beat the traffic police are detained
People who beat the police have been detained. According to the Prosecutor General's Office, on 24 February in the Khazar district of Baku Traffic Police officers, sergeants, Vugar Abbasov and Jeyhun Agayev stopped the car "VAZ 2107" with license plate 10-DL-542, drove a red traffic light. The driver did not obey, continued the way at high speed, and stopped in suburban area Gyzylgum in the village of Mardakan. The driver Rakif Abdullayev, his brother Gulbala Abdullayev and his father Rafig Abdullayev cameout of the car,and using stones and other items, attacked the policemen, causing them various injuries.
As a result of his injuries a sergeant Abbasov was placed in the hospital, and Agayev was provided an outpatient care. The Khazar district prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit under the Article 315.2 (violence against a representative of authorities.) All three men who attacked the policemen have been detained. —06D-
