The cavalcade of the leader of the party Musavat Isa Gambar was attacked in Lankaran. Gambar arrived there in connection with the 20th anniversary of the regional branch of the party.

Musavat’s cars were damaged and some of the party functionaries were injured. The paper considers this as a predatory attack in an election year.

Isa Gambar, commenting on the incident, said that the government has once again shown its true face.

The newspaper called the 12 January action a "breakthrough of human wrath accumulated over years." In the case of young activists, who were detained for taking part in the action on January 12, the recently legislated penalties can be applied.
