Rangers Wounded, Poacher Detained
Baku / 03.10.18 / Turan: On the evening of October 1, in the Gyzylagah National Park, an unknown man opened fire on the staff of this natural reserve and escaped.
According to the Ministry of Environment, the rangers Arif Jafarov and Beyukkishi Garashov were injured. They were taken to hospital and provided with medical aid.
During the investigation of the local police, the poacher who wounded the rangers was identified. He turned out to be a resident of the village Kecheklik, Masalli district, Ilgar Samadov, who was trying to hunt in the reserve, but was stopped by the rangers.
During the operational search activities, Samadov was detained. The investigation is underway. -06D-
