REAL Activist Receives Ten Days of Arrest
Baku / 08.06.18 / Turan: A member of the REAL Party Anar Mammadov was detained on June 7 by the decision of the Yasamal District Court. The court arrested him for 10 days on charges of not obeying the police.
According to his relatives, he was called yesterday to the yard under the pretext that he had hit someone"s car when driving. Then the police accused him of foul language in the street.
However, his relatives consider the participation of A. Mammadov in the May 28 procession in Baku about the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan People"s Republic the true cause of the arrest.
The decision on the arrest will be appealed.
Earlier, four REAL activists were also arrested for a period of 25 to 30 days for participating in this action. -06D--
