Relatives of Emin Milli Renounce Him
The media have got an appeal to President Ilham Aliyev on behalf of 23 relatives of the head of online Meydan TV Emin Milli, who claim to renounce him.
The appeal noted that Emin Abdullayev (Milli) "under the influence of external forces in the dirty articles and speeches questioned the great successes of our country in the social and economic spheres, and its progress, trying to expose himself as a hero."
The authors argue that they have many a time asked him to abandon such activities, calling to stand up to "the right way". But Milli refused, offering his family to "forget" him.
The authors of the message also accused Milli of an attempt to sow discord in the Azerbaijani society.
"Apparently, he places his life abroad without family, relatives, religion, language and mentality above all," said the letter signed by 23 persons - cousins and other relatives, mostly residents of the Neftchala region.
However, from the message it is not clear what the authors wanted – whether they complained to Ilham Aliyev or were afraid of trouble because of the activities of Emin Milli. -06D--
