Special State Protection Service (SSPS) denied any involvement with the limits in Azerbaijan for talks on Skype. Previously a number of local media have reported freezing in some areas of the Azerbaijani service Skype. Later it was reported that negotiations are blocked by Special Civil Service (SSPS) protection as an experiment.
Today the center of the fight against computer incidents of the State Agency for Special Communications and Information Security SSPS denied reports of the Site Haqqin.az deliberate blocking Skype.
In a press release, these messages are called "untrue and absolute fiction."
The report notes that the SSPS only provides network security information resources of government agencies to the Internet and is not related to the Internet and providing services in this area.
Therefore, the State Agency for Special Communications and Information Security SSPS cannot carry restrictions on the service "Skype" and other Internet resources.
"At the same time, we want to note that the software" Skype ", with a broad network of users to the Internet, as well as in other software, there may be short-term problems in the software and the hardware, or the establishment of communication networks. Therefore, is not allowed to present it as a deliberate restriction of the activities of the program, " said in a press release.
In turn, the press service of the Ministry of Communications and High-Tech has also denied reports of restrictions in to Skype.
The head of the Internet Forum of Azerbaijan, head of the NGO "Multimedia" Osman Gunduz commenting Turan situation around Skype, also expressed doubts about the deliberate interference in the work of the service by the government agencies.
"We found no cases of blocking Skype. Perhaps someone had problems with their own equipment, or near the Skype had a problem with a software update," he said.

Technically to block Skype in Azerbaijan, according to Gunduz, can a company Delta Telecom - the main supplier of the Internet.

The representative office of Microsoft in Baku, which includes Skype, said they could not give comments because we do not fix disruptions in to Skype.
