On 28 May on the occasion of the Independence Day starting at 12:00 the Baku garrison troops will parade march through the 10 different areas of the capital. According to the press service of the Defense Ministry, personnel of the military units located in Nakhchivan, Ganja, Shamkir, Sumgait, Barda, Beylagan, Lankaran, Gusar, and Horadiz regions will participate in the march.
In various parts of the capital on May 28 from 17:00 to 19:00 will perform by the orchestra of the Armed Forces: with fountains, on the Boulevard (near Azneft Square, in front of Azadlig Square), in the Heydar Aliyev Park in Ahmedli, in the park named after Zarifa Aliyeva, as well as Park of Officers. Military orchestra will perform also in Nakhchivan, Ganja, Shamkir, Sumgait, Barda, Beylagan, Lankaran, Gusar regions. -04D-

On November 27, at 17:30, border guards of the Göytəpə Border Detachment prevented the smuggling of a large drug shipment from Iran into Azerbaijan.
