The prosecutor’s office begins checking the activities of the REAL Movement

Prosecutor General's Office has shown a remarkable speed and began checking   due to the publication on the website haqqin.az. This site by  Eynulla Fatullayev wrote that Iran's intelligence met in Baku with representatives of Ilgar Mamedov and gave them money for the REAL Movement. "Prosecutor General's Office began to seriously investigate  it,"  said the press service of the agency in response to a request Turan agency. According to the press-secretary of the Prosecutor General's Office Eldar Sultanov, the investigation will be conducted by the  Office for Serious Crimes.

In the  above material Fatullayev claims that the second secretary of the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan met with the leadership of "REAL" , there was a "secret agreement", and the diplomat conveyed the money.

Commenting on the allegations the  executive secretary of the "REAL" Natig Jafarli told Turan, that such accusations are absurd. "Allegations of this man who calls himself the journalists are no more than the chatter, and  an investigation on this basis is an attempt to put pressure on the" REAL ". Our organization is completely transparent, and we are not afraid of  any inspection.

 The attempts to  present as a sensation a message placed  eight days ago by us on the website of our organization  are ridiculous.

The office of REAL  visited ambassadors and diplomats from more than 20 countries. The Iranian diplomat was one of them and initiative of the meeting. The theme of the meeting were issues of bilateral relations, situation in the region and so forth," said Jafarli.

The prosecutor's office, as well as the Ministry of Interior and other state bodies for some reason do not notice publications on the  government officials’ offenses of corruption and violations of the rights of citizens. -03В-
