The right of Abulfaz Sadigbeyli are violated in jail
Baku / 27.12.18 / Turan: The rights of the head of the youth committee of the Musavat Party, Abulfaz Sadigbeyli, are violated in the Kurdakhani prison, stated by his brother VasifSadigbeyli.
"Illegal bans were imposed against Abulfaz. The investigation has already completed, but he is not allowed to meet with us, or to call us. Although we received an official letter on the completion of the investigation and the removal of restrictions,"V.Sadygbeyli said.
There is also a ban on the transfer of books.
These bans will be appealed in court.
The attempts to receive comments in the Prison Service were futile.
Sadigbeyli was arrested on November 21. An activist is charged under theArticle 178.2.1 (fraud committed by a group of persons in a preliminary conspiracy) and 320.2 (use of knowingly forged documents, stamps, letterheads) of the Criminal Code.
In particular, Sadigbeyli is charged with forging a certificate from the Nikoil bank about repayment of the loan. However, according to the defense, he repaid the loan and has documentary evidence of this.
The Musavat Party believes that Sadigbeyli is being persecuted for political reasons. -06D--
