The sudden death of the head of "the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine"
Khagani Huseynov, the head of the public association of "Congress of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine" died in Ukraine. According to some reports, the cause of death was a heart attack. A sixty-year old Huseynov was born in Agdam region. As a career officer, he returned to Azerbaijan from the beginning of the Karabakh conflict and actively promote the national armed forces.
During the rule of the Popular Front, Huseynov was the chief executive of the Nizami district of Baku. After the military coup in June 1993, Huseynov studied social and political activities as an activist of the opposition party "Musavat". In recent years he lived in Kiev, where he led one of the diaspora organizations of Azerbaijanis.
In 2014, with the beginning of Russian aggression against Ukraine, Huseynov was one of the founders
International battalion of the representatives of different nationalities to participate in the fight for the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
