Theft in Office of Human Rights Defender
Criminals robbed the office of the head of the Committee against Torture Elchin Behbudov, located in one of the rooms in the Palace of Hand Games at Neftchilar Avenue, 26.
According to Behbudov, the theft occurred the night before. The thieves made their way into the room, partially destroying one of the walls. They took with them a DVD, a computer and valuable items .
" In the corridor, there is a television set. They also wanted to take it away, but they could not," said Behbudov . He informed the police in the Sabail district about the theft.
The human rights activist said the theft is a purely a criminal incident and does not have another underlying reason. According to him, the neighboring office was also stolen.
Note that AZN 30,000 was stolen from the private car of Behbudov in 2008. -16D06-
