Traders of Market Burned in Gedabey Protest
In Gedabey the central market, owned by LLC Anar burned on April 7.
According to the MOE, in the area of 1700 sq. m. wooden counters and merchandise burned.
The rest of the market and the surrounding objects were saved from the fire. The causes of fire were reported.
According to the Azerbaijani service of Radio Azadliq, about 50 traders gathered in front of the district administration. They believe that arson was deliberately constructed and require compensation for the damage caused.
Local police did not confirm the fact of the protest, and does not report on the investigation into the causes of the fire. -16D06-
