About 100 Karabakh Armenians already apply due to reintegration process
Baku/05.10.23/Turan: Another 15 Karabakh Armenians applied for registration in order to join the process of reintegration into Azerbaijani society.
This is stated in the joint report of the State Migration Service and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of the Population of Azerbaijan.
According to the press release, 13 Armenian residents applied in person, two more remotely in online format through a special portal reintegration.gov.az .
Each of the applicants expressed a desire to live in Karabakh and obtain Azerbaijani citizenship.
Besides, during the field meetings, legal educational work was carried out with local residents, they were provided with information about the reintegration process, the press release further says.
In total, as of October 4, 98 applications for pre-registration were received.
Also, in order to clarify the current humanitarian situation, the Ministry of Labor assessed the state of primary socio-psychological, social and rehabilitation services. Consultations were held on issues related to disability and receiving rehabilitation services. -06B-

Activist Nijat Ibrahim, who was detained in Baku pre-trial detention center-1, inflicted numerous wounds on himself on November 20 in protest against unjustified criminal prosecution, his wife Parvin Ibrahim told Turan. According to her, on November 21, her husband called her and informed her that the day before he had inflicted incised wounds on himself with a piece of mirror. In particular, he cut his throat and ears.
