Screening of Azerbaijani Director Received an Oscar
The Festival of European Cinema, which will be held October 4-10 in Baku Park Cinema, will include the film premiere by Elmar Imanov - Swing of the Undertaker (production IFS Internationale Filmschule Koln, Germany).
The half-hour tape by the Azerbaijani director, who lives in Germany, has already gained success in the international arena including winning the most prestigious youth award - Student Academy Award of the American Academy.
Swing of the Undertaker, is a psychological drama about a father and son, played on the background of the semi-desert landscape of the Azerbaijan province.
The screening will be on Saturday, October 6 at 14:00 in Park Cinema (Hall Planetarium). At the conclusion of the film there will be a discussion with the authors, the director Elmar Imanov and the producer Eva Blondin. The tickets are on sell at the cinema's box office. -02B-
