Announced the List of Streets Closed for Repairs
Baku residents and car drivers are finally able to see the list of streets, restricted or completely closed for the movement of urban transport in connection with the repair work.
According to the statement distributed by the center of intellectual transport management of the Ministry of Transport, completely closed is the road traffic in the city center - on Oilmen Avenue, the Afiyaddin Jalilov and Aziz Aliyev streets, as well as on Bulbul Avenue at the intersection with Oilmen Avenue and Zarifa Aliyeva Street.
At the intersection of the Abbas Mirza Sharifzadeh and Nazim Hikmet streets (Yasamal district) they blocked part of the traffic to the restaurant Cactus, and the right side of the road was temporarily announced bilateral.
In the same way they closed the Gelebe Circle toward Assad Ahmedov Street, the opposite side of the road traffic has also become bilateral.
In U. Hadjibekov Street the traffic is temporarily two-way, which made it possible to close the Safaraliyev and Richard Zorge streets.
Also completely closed is Niyazi Street and traffic at the corner of R.Behbudov and Z.Aliyeva streets and Oilmen Avenue.
The intellectual transport management center of the capital was created at the end of last year. The main objective of the center is to establish order in the field of road traffic in the country and to address the issues. However, judging by the screens installed on the buses, it is obvious that the control in this area is at a very low level. - 17D-

Azerbaijan's financial standing continues to strengthen as the country's foreign currency reserves have surged to $71 billion as of January 1, 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance. This figure, which includes reserves held by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), far exceeds the nation's external debt, which stands at a fraction of its reserves, specifically nearly 14 times less.
