Bakcell invites Android developers at a seminar on Augmented Reality
The oldest local mobile operator Bakcell together with the specialists at Qualcomm announced a seminar on Augmented Reality for developers of Android.
The main objective of the workshop - to tell the developers with the platform Vuforia augmented reality from a company Qualcomm, and the use of the platform SDK. Vuforia is a platform for building augmented reality applications for phones and tablets on operating systems iOS and Android. It leads the industry augmented reality. At its base is already created more than 5,500 applications for devices running on Android and iOS. The plan includes the study of the workshop and setting Vuforia SDK (degree of difficulty: medium) , developing Android applications using augmented reality Vuforia SDK on Eclipse ( degree of difficulty : high ) , the development of Android augmented reality app using Vuforia SDK based on the Unity 3D ( degree of difficulty : middle) . In addition, the plan to create their own applications (degree of difficulty: high).
The basic requirements for participation are experience in developing Android applications, registration at the site https://developer.vuforia.com/ and compliance with the requirements Android and Unity 3D.
One has to be in possession of the seminar notebook with all the necessary software. Knowledge of Unity 3D is desirable.

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN.
