Banks should not suffer, but citizens?
The margin established by the Central Bank of the country has become the new legitimate wayfor robbing people. Thus, the difference between the buying and selling of the border after devaluation enables banks to buy at a low price foreign currency from citizens, and sell to the highest level. The difference is about 8% (four for the purchase and four for selling.)
So, today the purchase rate of dollars by banks is 1.51 - 1.54 manat. At the same time, banks sell dollars for 1.58- 1.62 manat. The official rate of the Central Bank was 1.57 manat per dollar. For example, on February 10 "Yapı Kredi bank" and "Respublika Bank" buy a dollar for 1.51 manat, "AFbank", "Xalqbank" - for 1.54.
It is clear that banks should not work to their detriment, but buying at this rate in a crisis is also not fair. Especially when it is promoted by the Central Bank.
For comparison, before the devaluation on December 21, 2015, the margin was only 2%. -05В-
