Belarus in Line with the Use of Postal Transfers STEFI
In November, industrial association "Azerpoct" will implement a system STEFI (Secured Transfer of Electronic Financial Information) for postal transfers to Belarus.
Preliminary work in this direction is already underway. In addition, the system will operate at postal transfers to Russia, Kazakhstan and Moldova, said the Ministry of Communications of Azerbaijan.
On account of the Post Office already has a positive short-term practice (September 4) cooperation with Ukraine. The application of this system will allow the postal operator to carry out technically money transfers for 30 minutes. In addition, there will be less red tape - all transactions will be arranged electronically. Tariffs of the new system will be no higher than the existing rates.
The advantage of this system is that the express money transfer, are carried out for half an hour, the recipient is given within three hours. The main financial advantage of the local mail is that the only recipient of income from departure will be Azerpoct.
In the future, when the number of partner countries to expand significantly, the service will work almost around the clock, if we take into account the time difference between the countries, and that the reduced time removing the balance of settlement to be submitted more than once in 2-3 months and weekly.
System is being implemented in accordance with the recommendations of the International Postal Union, and will be the first in the CIS commissioned in Baku. Immediately after Ukraine, in the case of a successful launch, the local post office will apply STEFI service for money transfers from Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan and Moldova.
Ltd. Azerpoct of the ministry also transfers money from Georgia and the United Arab Emirates.
Recall that the first post office opened in Azerbaijan in 1818 in Ganja.
