Betting on manat and foreign currency loans decreased proportionally in September
Residual volume of lending to the economy of the country has increased in September 2013 to 338.2 million or 2.3% to 14,793.3 million manat.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the increase in lending over the past 12 months amounted to 3,412.5 million or 29.9%. The share of overdue loans in the total reached on October 1 this year, 5.4% against 6.7 % a year earlier.
Short-term loans for the year rose by 276 million manat or 8.7 %, while the long-term - by 3136.8 million or 38%. The residue of the latter was 11,365 mln manats. The share of long-term debt amounted to 76.8 % (against 72.3 % a year earlier).
The share of private banks in total credit portfolio decreased to 62.6 % , the share of the country's largest International Bank of Azerbaijan grew to 34.7 %, the remaining 2.7 % were non-bank credit organizations
In the real sector of the economy by the bank issued 98.53 % of all loans in the financial sector - 1.47%. As of October 1, 2013 , individuals were granted loans totaling 5688.9 million or 38.5% of the total, in the sphere of trade and services - 2197.4 million or 14.9% , in the field of energy and natural Resources -368.3 million or 2.5% , to construction and property - 2283.8 million or 15.4% , in the sphere of industry and manufacturing - 1467.4 million or 9.9% in the sphere of transport and communications - 515.5 million manat or 3.5 % , in the sphere of agriculture and processing - 705.9 million manat or 4.8 %, etc.
The share of loans in foreign currency amounted to 28.9 %. At the corresponding date last year, the share of foreign currency lending economy was 32.9 %.
According to the regional structure of credit investments accounted for 86.5 per cent share of Baku. The capital also provided for 86.3 percent of overdue accounts. The average lending rate in the country in September amounted to 14.4 % (previous month, it was 14.1 %).
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the average rate of the manat credits in September was down by 0.12 % to 14.14 %, for loans in foreign currency - by 0.12 % to 14.44 %. In annual terms manat resources decreased by 1.29 percentage points, while currency - by 1.09 percentage points As of October 1 this year, manat loans were issued to individuals under 18.02% and 20.72 %, respectively.
