By Year End, Regions to Receive Broadband Internet
Broadband Internet will step into the regions of the country.
As stated in the information of Infirpo Inc., this is done by the Production Association Aztelekom, which intends to increase the number of users of services in regional telecommunication service nodes. Objectives of the project are expansion of public access to information resources in the regions and infrastructure for e-services as well as improving the quality of services. The project includes planned installation and commissioning of new numbers and ports in Sumgait, Ganja, Absheron, Zagatala, Shamkir, Khachmaz, Goygol, Agdam, Barda, and Tartar and in 47 districts of the country. The result will be the creation of a real technical possibility to increase the number of users of Internet services Aztelekom by more than 60% and increase in the volume of the services.
Infirpo Inc - Corporate is a financial advisor to the project, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2015. This was a consequence of attracting foreign investment to the business.
As the national telecom operator, Aztelekom provides a variety of communication services and information and communication technologies to private and corporate clients, service providers and other users. Aztelekom brings together 57 local telecommunications companies, international automatic telephone exchange, the Site №5650 and the technical assembly cable line.
