Financial Markets Control House Receives Legal Support
Fahriyar Jabbarov has been appointed the head of the legal department of the Financial Markets Control House (FMCH) of Azerbaijan. He is a former member of the Supervisory Board of Synergy Group, and the First Deputy Chairman of the Board of this entity.
Recall that the FMCH Board of Directors consists of its head Rufat Aslanli, the Deputy Nigar Mammadova and a member Ilgar Ibrahimov. The Chief Executive Officer is Ibrahim Alyshev.
FMCH is the first public legal entity created by presidential decree in February this year. Its mission is licensing, regulation and supervision of the securities market, investment funds, insurance companies and credit institutions (banks, non-bank credit institutions and postal services), as well as payment systems. --17D-

Saudi Electricity CEO Khalid Al-Hamidi and Baba Rzayev, Chairman of Azerbaijan's state-owned energy company Azerenergy, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Wednesday during the COP29 summit in Baku.
