First Deputy Chairman of Board Appointed to National Depository Center
According to the decision of the Supervisory Board of the National Depository Center, Fahriyar Jabbarov was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the central depository of the country.
The Board Chairman has two deputies.
Prior to this appointment he served as a Board member of the Financial Markets Supervision House and the Director of the department of law and enforcement. He graduated as a lawyer from Baku State University and as manager from York University.
NDC has operated since 1997. It serves all issuers of securities in Azerbaijan. Its members are licensed investment companies of Azerbaijan. The company employs more than 60 people. ---08D

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
