State Statistics Committee announced the increase in food prices in November by 1.4%.
Price hike affected flour, rice , bread, pasta , beef and chicken , fish products , meat products , milk and dairy products , eggs, butter, vegetable oil , pears, quinces , pomegranates, potatoes, onions and garlic.
However, several items fell during the month, including buckwheat, apples , persimmons, lemons, oranges, bananas, chestnuts , cabbages, beets, carrots , greens and sugar .
After the increase in prices for gasoline and oil products in the first days of December, there is an increase in prices of some food in the markets and shops. Most of the increase in prices by 15-20 % was observed for agricultural products supplied to the capital from the provinces.
Experts predict a rise in prices in December due to the rising prices for gasoline and approach of the New Year, which will contribute to higher prices . -0 -
