Foreign exchange mass decreased over the year by almost 5 %
The money supply increased in September 2013 by 78.4 million or 0.5 % to 14,809.6 million manat. Over the past 12 months, the volume of manat funds in the economy increased by 2,407.2 million or 19.4%.
According to the Azerbaijani Central Bank, the amount of cash outside the banking system increased in September by 44 million or 0.5 % to 9560 million manat. Non-cash increased by AZN 35.2 million or 0.7 % to 5249.6 million manat. The share of the latter in the structure of AZM treatment increased to 35.4 %.
Broad money expanded in the reporting month by 171.3 million or 1%, for the year - to 2,270.3 million or 15 % to 17,613.6 million manat.
The volume of foreign exchange supply in the banking system increased in September by 92.9 million or 3.4% to the equivalent of 2,804 million manat. During the year foreign exchange mass decreased by 4.7 %. The share of manat resources in the total money supply amounted to 84.1 %, up 3.3 % compared to October 1, 2012.
The total monetary base rose in September by 0.1 %, while for the year - by 13.8 % to 10,697.2 million manat. Manat monetary base declined slightly in the reporting month amounted to 10,615.9 million manat (August - 10,616.8 million). - 15V -
