Local airlines lower prices for passenger transport
In October, the local airlines have reduced prices on air tickets to all destinations. However, the tickets were more expensive in October than in January, according to the State Statistics Committee (SSC) of Azerbaijan.
Currently, the national airline AZAL perform flights from Baku to Nakhchivan (ticket price in one direction 50 manat), Ganja (30 manat), and Gabala (30 manat), as well as from Ganja to Nakhchivan (39 manat.) Compared with September and previous months, the average cost of a ticket on domestic flights decreased by 5.9%, and amounted to 35.91 manat.
The prices for tickets by airlines to the CIS was in October an average of 340.9 manat, which is by 3.9% less than in September. Compared with August (AZN 404) prices fell by 16%. At the same time, it must be emphasized that in January a ticket to the cities of CIS countries was an average of 303.6 manat. Private air company "Turan-Air" also perform flights to the CIS (Ekaterinburg, Surgut, and Kazan.)
It is cheaper to make flights to other countries. According to the State Statistics Committee, the average ticket price of local airlines to foreign countries in October amounted to 287.2 manat by 10 manat or 3.4% less than in September. The most expensive tickets (an average of 304 manats) were sold in August. In January, one-way ticket can be purchased at an average of 275.8 manat. --08D—

Azerbaijani internet service providers Aztelekom and Baktelekom will introduce substantial changes to their pricing structure starting August 15, the companies announced today. Under the new tariffs, the minimum internet speed will rise to 100 Mbit/s, with the cost per Mbit/s decreasing from 0.45 AZN to 0.25 AZN. As a result, monthly charges will be set at 25 AZN for 100 Mbit/s, 30 AZN for 150 Mbit/s, and 36 AZN for 250 Mbit/s.
