In November 2013 individuals in 2.3 times more likely applied to SCR

In November of this year the Central Credit Register (SCR) received 227,329 requests, 2.1 % less than the previous month. Of the total number of appeals only 0.23 % was done by individuals , which in turn increased the reported month by 20.3 %, as compared to November 2012 by 2.3 times.

According to the CBA, during the 11 months of 2013 SCR received 2,061,461 requests. Compared to January-November 2012 the figure rose by 1,178,700 units or 2.4 times. During the same period by individuals were 4,700 queries or 0.23 % of the total.

On 1 December 2013 the total number of borrowers (including credit history of borrowers who do not have current debt) reached 1,920,000 people, of which 1,894,000 comprised individuals.

At the reporting date the amount of guarantors was equal to 801.7 thousand persons. The total number of credit (including fully repaid loans) data exceeded 6.33 million.

SCR was established under the Central Bank of Azerbaijan in 2005. Data are available on all credits for individuals and legal entities, regardless of their amount. The right to use these data is owned by banks and non-bank credit organizations (NBCO) as well as those who collected the data. NBCO and banks receive data in real time in electronic form, while borrowers receive data within three days on the basis of free inquiry.
