Insurance Report from Finance Ministry
The Insurance Supervision Service of the Ministry of Finance published a report on the collection of premiums and payments in proven cases. From January to November they collected 355,976,980 manat (+ 5.4% as of 1 November 2013).
Most of the premiums were received under voluntary insurance - 229,513,230 manat (+ 2.8%). The highest growth - 68.9% occurred in life insurance (AZN 58,212,170). A little more was collected premiums for health insurance (VHI) - 59,134,900 manat, motor insurance - 31,634,470 manat, property insurance against fire and other risks - 26,809,370 manat, and insurance of aircraft - 12,329,000 manat.
Cargo insurance premiums amounted to 12,286,200 manat, and liability insurance of air vehicles - 3,743,270 manats.
Within the framework of mandatory types collection of premiums was 126 463 750 manat (+ 10.5%).
The total amount of payments made 131 405 430 manat (+ 32.8% at the expense of life insurance). --17D-

According to official statistics from Azerbaijan, bilateral trade in 2023 reached 3.1 billion US dollars. In just the first ten months of 2024, trade volume increased by 17.1% year-on-year, reaching 3.02 billion US dollars, putting the annual trade figure on track to hit a record high.
