It will be possible to enter Azerbaijan from 1 August by "Green Card"
On August 1, 2016 Russian car owners will be able to enter the territory of Azerbaijan with the Russian insurance certificate "Green Card". The relevant agreement within the international motor third party liability insurance "Green Card" was signed by the Russian Union of Insurers and the Bureau of compulsory insurance of the Republic of Azerbaijan, informs banki.ru.
For entry will be valid as new sample cards (with "AZ" cell - the "Green Card" Azerbaijan in Section 8), and the old - without a cell, according to a union statement. Date of issue of the "Green Card" does not matter, as long as the insurance period covered dates. Similarly, at the territory of Russia will be recognized "Green Card" of Azerbaijan.
